We were so happy and surprised our photo won 1st place. I saw Pele's Well online before left for Hawaii in May of 2018, I knew I wanted to capture this well. We scouted out the area around noon and went back right before sunset. When we got the place seemed magical and beautiful. We had a wonderful time in Hawaii, despite the break out of COVID in 2020.
